Careers/Student Opportunities

The FOFA Gallery is a department of the Dean's Office, Faculty of Fine Arts. From time to time the Gallery has opportunities for student employment including:

  • Work Studies (Gallery Attendants) – students must be full-time Concordia University Students and can work a maximum of 15 hours per week. See the Financial Aid and Awards Office for details and to apply for authorization to work.

  • Internships – from time to time the gallery offers work opportunities based on Research Assistantships from Faculty of Fine Arts departments such as Art History and Art Education. Please contact The FOFA Gallery or The Chair of your department regarding eligibility.

  • Summer Grant positions – the Gallery regularly applies for Young Canada Works funding for summer employment. Students must be between the ages of 16 and 30 and be eligible to work in Canada, have been enrolled full-time in the past year, and must be returning to University in the autumn semester. Position announcements are made in May/June.
