After considering the following phrases, the invited artists were asked to transform a chair into a sculptural object: “Sitting in this chair reminds me of when we first met…” or “The first time I sat here I was…” or “…and then I sat down. A live auction of these chairs and the maquettes will take place November 10. This fundraising event is being held to help send 18 students and faculty to the Prague International Quadrennial on Design for Theatre in June 2007.
